Surveys are sent using the Survey123 for Arcgis app. The contributor who wishes to send data and samples to the Network must necessarily register. At the end of the registration the contributor will receive a personal code to be used for sending field and historical data.
Follow the instructions to set up the app (on mobile or PC).

The census activities concern not only the fungal species present in an area, but also a rough characterization of the habitat in the area. A short guide with images related to the habitat is available to support the correlation between fungi and habitat.

App for sending field survey

The contributor can send their surveys through the Survey123 for Arcgis app by downloading the “SIF 6.1” detection:

• • from mobile device directly in the field, even without connection. In this case, the application must be installed on your mobile device through the Play store (Android) or the App store (Apple);
  • from the PC to give the possibility to transcribe later the information collected. In this case you need to install the application on your PC. The installation file is available for both Windows OS and Apple.

App for sending historical data

The contributor can send historical data through the Survey123 for Arcgis app, by downloading the historical “SIF 6.1 historical” detection.

The app can be used:

• • by mobile. In this case, the application must be installed on your mobile device through the Play store (Android) or the App store (Apple);
  • from PC. In this case you need to install the application on your PC. The installation file is available for both Windows OS and Apple.

Alternatively, for large amounts of data, you can use an Excel format to request via e-mail to ndm-dati@isprambiente.it
When sending the data (field or historical), the contributor may request via app (and also through the Excel format) to send dried samples to fungarium both for storage and genetic analysis (see section fungarium)
