Mico Weekend in Trento: August 30–31, 2025 at MUSE

On August 30 and 31, 2025, the Mico Weekend will take place in Trento—a weekend dedicated to the fascinating world of fungi, promoted by MUSE – Science Museum of Trento.

Two days to explore the fungal kingdom through species identification, etymology, and coevolution, with the support of experts in the field.

Mycological Exhibition
An exhibition focused on fungal biodiversity, helping visitors learn to identify the most poisonous species.

Mycological Excursion “Among the Fungi of Bondone”
A field excursion dedicated to the recognition of the most common woodland fungi.

The Network for the Study of Mycological Diversity (NMD) welcomes these initiatives that bring citizens closer to the world of fungi. It also recalls that MUSE is an active member of the network’s Scientific Committee, and thanks to this connection, the network ideally takes part in this event dedicated to the knowledge and protection of fungi.
