The Garden of the Gods. Plants and Myth between History and Legend

Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026 – Monte Romano (VT), Sala del Paesaggio Agrario – Via Vittorio Emanuele s.n.c.

The naturalistic cultural association BIOMA, external unit of the Network for the Study of Mycological Diversity (ISPRA), under the patronage of the Municipality of Monte Romano, presents: “The Garden of the Gods. Plants and Myth between History and Legend.”

The initiative is part of the activities promoting and disseminating mycological culture within the Ndm Network.

Mycological exhibition featuring specimens from the Fungarium of the BIOMA Association.

Public lecture entitled:
“The Garden of the Gods: Plants and Myth between History and Legend”
(Perseus and the founding of Mycenae, and the use of mushrooms in the Eleusinian mysteries)
