Mico Photo Contest 2026: registrations are open

Ndm shares this news as partner, together with MicoCosmo, in the Montagne in Transizione 2025 project funded by Fondazione Cariplo. We are pleased to announce the opening of the Mico Photo Contest 2026, an initiative linked to the MicoCosmo Festival and open to all photography and nature enthusiasts.

The contest invites participants to portray through images the world of fungi, not only as forest organisms, but as key actors in ecological relationships with plants, animals, bacteria and landscapes.

  • Up to 5 photographs in JPG format
  • Submission deadline: 20 August 2026
  • Award ceremony: 6 September 2026, during the MicoCosmo Festival in Cevo
  • Selected images will be exhibited during the festival

Prizes

Prizes include a stay in Valle Camonica, a mushroom foraging excursion, mycology courses, books and thematic materials.
