2024 Photo contest

We are pleased to announce a special initiative to celebrate the work carried out in 2024: a collection of the best mycological images captured by the Network NMD contributors.

We aim to select around ten representative photos to showcase and share the beauty and diversity of macrofungi documented throughout the year.

The selected images will be published on the Network’s official website as a symbol of our commitment to mycology. Additionally, one of the chosen photos will be featured as the cover of the updated Guidelines to be published in 2025.

The images will be evaluated by the ISPRA working group, which will assess them based on their quality and representativeness.

Photo Requirements:

• • Subject: Macrofungi (in a natural setting or during network activities).
  • Format: JPG or PNG, minimum resolution 1920×1080 px.
  • Title/Description: Scientific name of the fungus, location, and date of the shot.
  • Photo Credit: The author’s name will be displayed alongside the photo.
  • Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025.
