4th “Natura in Contatto” Festival – Civitavecchia, July 4–28, 2025

From July 4 to 28 – Free admission. Open every day, including Sundays.
Opening hours: Morning: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Evening: 6:30 PM – 12:00 AM

The Natura in Contatto Festival returns to the evocative setting of the Ancient Fortress in Civitavecchia’s Historic Port: a journey through nature, art and culture, promoted by Bioma and Ndm, with the free patronage of local and regional authorities.

The programme includes exhibitions, art installations, cultural events and public talks for visitors of all ages.

The Network for the Study of Mycological Diversity will take part in the Natura in Contatto Festival on 14 July 2025, hosted in Civitavecchia from 4 to 28 July.

During the meeting, ISPRA and the Bioma Association will share their experience of collaboration under the ISPRA–Bioma Agreement and the actions carried out to improve knowledge and protection of fungal species. The session will highlight the role of the national Network, the macrofungi monitoring programme, data collection on threatened species, and the importance of scientific outreach.

Bioma will focus on data collection activities related to threatened fungal species, highlighting the key features of the taxa included in the national Red List, and the valuable contribution of civil society organisations to the Network’s initiatives.
This will be an opportunity to learn more about the work being done to study and conserve fungi in Italy, and to recognise the contribution of institutions, experts and associations across the country.

Join us on 14 July at Natura in Contatto!
