The National Biodiversity Network (NNB) is a technical infrastructure managed by ISPRA on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security for the management, publication, and dissemination of geographical biodiversity information related to the national territory.

ISPRA and IZSVe sign Convention on research applied to Italian mycological diversity
On 30 October 2024, the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) signed an agreement with the Institute for Experimental Zooprophylaxis in the Venetian Region (IZSVe), establishing a strategic collaboration within the framework of the Network for the study of mycological diversity (NMD).
Collaboration between KCS Biotech, ISPRA, and the University of Pavia (2022–2024)
The collaboration between KCS Biotech, ISPRA, and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the University of Pavia (DSTA-Unipv), which began in 2022 and ended in 2024, aimed to investigate fungal diversity in a sample area owned by the company.
