NMD at MicoCosmo Festival 2026 within the MeeT-Fungi project

The NMD Network participated in the third edition of the MicoCosmo Festival, held from 2 to 6 September 2026 in Cevo (Brescia), in Valle Camonica. The event took place in the Pineta area, surrounded by forests of significant natural value.

NMD’s participation was part of the MeeT-Fungi project and provided an important opportunity to contribute to the Festival’s activities by sharing the Network’s experience in fungal biodiversity monitoring and the structured collection of mycological data.

In this context, NMD promoted the importance of fungal data for environmental monitoring, strengthening dialogue among the scientific community, institutions and citizens.
