Survey on Field Activities and Census and Monitoring Initiatives of Macrofungi in Italy

The Network for the Study of Mycological Diversity (hereafter Network), in agreement with the Scientific Committee (comprising ISPRA, the Italian Botanical Society, the Museum of Sciences of Trento, the Italian Mycological Union, the Ecological Mycological Association of Rome, and the Bresadola Mycological Group of Trento), has launched an initiative to census fungal species in national habitats in order to collect observations and data in the ISPRA Fungi Information System (SIF).
This survey is aimed at contributors already participating in the Network as well as those who have not yet joined. Its purpose is to gather information on both individual and mycological group field activities, as well as on local and national census initiatives already underway in Italy.
