On 22, 23 and 24 November 2024, the ISPRA Network for the study of mycological diversity (NMD) is a guest in Follonica (GR) on the occasion of the 39th Regional Scientific Committee, organized by the Association of Mycological Groups of Tuscany (AGMT) and the Follonichese Group.
Mycological Conference “The Fungi of the Circeo National Park”
Sabaudia – November 14-17, 2024
On 14 and 15 November 2024, the Network for the Study of Mycological Diversity (Ndm) of ISPRA will take part in the Mycological Conference ‘The Fungi of the Circeo National Park’, organised by the A.M.E.R. APS in Sabaudia (LT), with the moral patronage of the Circeo National Park Authority.
JoNeF Site visit in Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki – October 23-24, 2024
On 23rd and 24th October 2024, the project team was hosted in Greece, in Thessaloniki for a face-to-face meeting and a site visit.
The site visit took place on Mount Paiko in Central Macedonia.
MICO-weekend! The hidden world of mushrooms
Trento – August 31-September 1, 2024
The event is organized by the Science Museum of Trento with the collaboration of the Network for the study of mycological diversity of ISPRA.
The program includes a mycological exhibition for both days to discover the biodiversity of fungi and recognize the poisonous species of the mountain area. Furthermore, mycological excursions coordinated by the Bresadola Mycological Group of Trento are planned.
JoNeF at IMC12 in Maastricht
Maastricht – August 11-15, 2024
On August 11-15, 2024, the 12th International Mycological Congress (IMC12) took place in Maastricht, Netherlands.
On August 12th, the JoNeF project and survey report were presented during Workshop 06, ‘Advancing fungal conservation’.
JoNeF Site visit in Bucharest
Bucharest – June 22-24, 2024
The JoNeF working group met in Bucharest for two meetings and a site visit.
The site visit took place at the Comana Natural Park.

Mycological exhibition “Fungi in the city” at the Botanical Garden of Rome
Rome, Orto Botanico, November 11-12, 2023
The launch of the Network for the study of mycological diversity of ISPRA (Ndm) and the “Fungi in the city” mycological exhibition set up at the Botanical Garden of Rome will be held on 11 November 2023.
Ndm has started, through a cooperation network of expert subjects, the census initiative of macromycetes on the national territory which has the objective of collecting, systematizing and publishing surveys, samples and data (historical and current) relating to the fungal species present in Italian habitats.
The Network has a scientific committee made up of representatives of ISPRA, the Italian Botanical Society (SBI), the Trento Science Museum (MUSE), the Roman Ecological Mycological Association (AMER), the Italian Mycological Union (UMI) and the G mycological group. Bresadola of Trento (GMB)
Partecipation in XIX Congress of European Mycologists

On 4-9 September 2023, at Perugia, the ISPRA NDM Network participated in the XIX Congress of European Mycologists as part of the workshop “Data Management and Open Science.”
